Michael C. Richardson AIA, LEED AP BD+C

First Vice President / Chief Operations Officer

Michael "Mike" Richardson received a Bachelor's degree (1975), as well as a Master's degree (2004) in Architecture from Tulane University. He joined BTA in 1987 and was promoted as a partner in 1994. Mr. Richardson serves as the First Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Richardson is knowledgeable in the regulatory and construction peculiarities of the Gulf Coast. He is skilled in 1) orchestrating and guiding broad based participatory decisions in a timely manner, 2) developing and presenting multiple options for consideration in a short time frame, and 3) consistently delivering on time. He offers in-depth experience in a broad range of building types ranging in construction value from $500,000 to $220 million. Mr. Richardson's representative projects include the Northwest Florida State College / University of West Florida Joint Center in Mary Ester, FL, the Hilton Tower at Pensacola Beach, FL and St. Paul Catholic Church located in Pensacola, FL.
