The Fuel Cell Maintenance Hangar provides a 27,700 SF facility for the 403rd Maintenance Squadron (403 MXS). The facility accommodates the new extended C-130-J-30 airframe and provides a fully enclosed heated and ventilated space for fuel cell maintenance and phased maintenance operations, as well as support spaces for administrative and training functions. The architectural design of this facility followed a vocabulary and style previously established in the design of the C-130J-30 Two-Bay Maintenance Hangar at Keesler AFB, also designed by Bullock Tice Associates.
