BTA listed as a Top Architecture Firm in two national surveys

September 12, 2016 by Angelique Turner

Bullock Tice Associates has landed the number 262 slot in Architectural Record’s annual Top 300 Architecture Firm list as well as the number 254 slot in the Almanac of Architecture & Design’s Top 333 Design and Architecture Firms 2013 edition.

Architectural Record, published by McGraw-Hill, is one of the country’s premier publications dedicated to architecture and interior design. Their 2013 Top 300 list ranks U.S. companies according to revenue in the prior year. BTA was one of 12 firms in the state of Florida and the only firm headquartered in Northwest Florida to make the list.

The Almanac of Architecture & Design, published by Design Intelligence, is an annual publication that serves as a detailed directory of more than 800 design firms. The almanac also ranks North America’s top 333 design firms based on annual revenue of the prior year. BTA was one of 10 firms in the state of Florida and the only firm headquartered in Northwest Florida to make the top 333.

Major projects awarded to BTA in 2012 include a $34.4 million SOF Rotary Wing Hangar at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; an $11.7 million Physical Fitness Center at Ft. Riley, Kansas (on-track for LEED Silver Certification); a $34.8 million project at Duke Field, Florida encompassing multiple facilities for the Aviation Foreign Internal Defense (AvFID) program; a $6.9 million Parking Garage at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA; and a HMA Hospital Medical Office Building in Batesville, Mississippi.

Regarding the firm’s position in the Top 300, John P. Tice, Jr., FAIA, CEO/President of BTA, commented, “Making this list in this economy is an indication that God has truly blessed us.”
